BE PART OF HISTORY - HONEY BANDIT WANTS YOU TO CELEBRATE THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY.......

Hi Ya'll,

In honor of the 40th Anniversary of the 1971 Free Roaming Wild Horse and Burro Act, Honey Bandit is inviting you to join our essay writing contest.  The details are attached, and the winners will be announced at the candle light vigil on December 15, 201 at the Holiday Market Shopping Center – in front of Another Chance Animal Welfare League –
9384 Deschutes Rd, Palo Cedro.

The vigil will be from approximately 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.   There are great opportunities for easy and unique Christmas shopping, (not to mention sparkly Christmas shopping - and you know how many of us love that) from 4:00 on, and at about 6:00 p.m. we will announce the winners of the essay contest.  We will have cake :) and light candles in honor of this important anniversary.

God willing, Honey Bandit will be there to celebrate with us, unless of course we have a blizzard or he is "snowed in".  But he definitely is planning on being there as he is honored with the wild horses.

Please encourage your children, no matter what grade, to take the time to think about the history of our wild horses, the amazing difference they made to the pioneers and farmers, and where we would have been without them.  It is a one page essay, but put them all together, and you will have an amazing tribute to the wild horses which can be used to help save their lives, before they become extinct and a beautiful part of our heritage is wiped off the earth forever.
