Emergency Help Needed - 8 (+?) More Babies for Chilly Pepper

We got the "calls", there are possibly 20 babies we need to pick up this Wednesday or Thursday in Yakima Washington. This is the number we have been given at this time.

The cost for EACH baby to be "bailed", get their Vet check, Coggins and Health Certificates to come home is about $200 each, which means we need at least $4,000 to pick up these horse kids. This does not include Fuel, feed, or any other costs. They are really coming in fast, and right now we still have some great homes lined up.

The Really Bad News is that starting this weekend, ALL the trappers are going to start using helicopters, so we are going to be inundated with babies.

Matt and I are willing to do the work and the endless driving, but we can't do it without the love and support you guys give. Without your help, it just isn't possible and these babies deserve a chance at life It is so overwhelming, but when do you say "Your Life Doesn't Matter?" So we will keep plugging away as long as we can.

So we are asking for help for these new kids. We never want folks to give more than they comfortably can, and every single dollar is so very much appreciated. God is putting these little lives in front of us, so we are giving it our all to try and save as many as we can.

We found a wonderful home for Spooner, who looks very much like Spirit, whom we are picking up this week. So many of these babies look so much alike, so we are making sure everyone knows they really aren't the same horses LOL. Folks at Expo thought Spooner and Spirit were the same babies but there is a definite difference in their blazes.

It is only going to get worse and we need to pick up the slack as one of the amazing women we work with who helps with the Yakima kids was in a riding accident and broke her neck. She is doing well and already complaining about having to wait to ride again, (my kind of woman), but she obviously cannot do orphan foals at this time.

So we are asking folks to stay with us so we can get these kids safely placed. THANK YOU - from the bottom of our hearts for helping and being part of our Chilly Pepper family.
