Well it is 4:42 a.m., and all the babies are still with us. Although Mav looks the worst, up until yesterday Shanny was actually the most critical. After shutting down almost completely twice in the last 24 hours, we made it through the night. Poor baby's temperatures have ranged from 105 to 95 during his ordeal. We do not leave him alone at all.
But this is a baby who WANTS to be here. The second he feels good or has plenty of air he is dancing around, bucking and being a big boy.
After only the first dose of the antibiotics, in addition to the Broncho pneumonia and the Pharyingitis, he now is fighting scours.
Please keep praying. I am afraid to close my eyes in case he starts struggling and needs another treatment.
On top of all this, my laptop crashed, died to where I want to shoot it. Where is DaBubbles when I need him? (After DaBubbles was attacked by the mountain lion he jumped on the bed and then onto the dresser and put a hoof through our old laptop. That is when we were living in the stall with HB. No one at Best Buy had ever seen that before lol) This is the computer that is only used for the rescue and has all of our stuff on it. I am sorry, but really??? I know it is just a thing, but man is that thing important to the rescue. Feel like crying but I don't dare start lol
Please keep praying for all four babies. They all seem to be fighting the same thing.
Dirty auction yards - what a crappy place to be born.
