All is well for Honey Bandit and The Rescue

_Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in what isn't done yet, and you forget to stop and appreciate what has been accomplished.  Life at Chilly Pepper - Miracle Mustang is very good!!!!!!
We got the perfect amount of snow.  Just enough to demonstrate how quickly we could become snowbound and enough to show me that the car isn't going to cut it (haha).   I got stuck in the driveway for about an hour.  Of course I pretented to be getting the mail until my son helped me dig out.  That just makes it clear that getting my truck fixed is the next priority.
We have hay and grain for the horses, so if we do get snowbound, there are no worries about that.  We are far from finished, but that is okay.  Most people have things that are not done.   Our permanent foal "nursery" is not even started, but that is also ok, because we ARE READY RIGHT NOW FOR THE NEXT FOAL!    We have a temporary nursery ready to go RIGHT NOW!!   YEAH!!!
The horses are thriving and actually seem to enjoy the snow.  I have to admit that I would much rather have snow than freezing rain. :)    We just have to be smart and get things done in the correct order.  Also, we found out that there are areas where the trees block major amounts of snow, just make sure you are not standing under that tree when it dumps it's load :)
So all in all, everything is looking great.  So we just want to say thank you for sharing this with us.  Honey Bandit went through so much and he is a very happy boy
