Just wanted to share the wonderful news. We are having a CANDLE LIGHT VIGIL (IN HONOR OF HONEY BANDIT AND THE REST OF THE WILD HORSES) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1971 Wild & And Free Roaming Horse & Burro Act.
The wonderful folks in Palo Cedro are hosting the event. We are planning it from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and although planning is still in the works, we are very excited. The event will be in front of Another Chance Animal Welfare store, and there are wonderful stores for last minute Christmas shopping who will be open late for your convenience.
We are looking for any vendors who might want to share this wonderful occasion with us and are inviting all the wonderful folks who helped Honey Bandit survive.
I will be sharing the names of all the fabulous people that are helping to make this happen in the next day or so. (forgot where I put all my info and since it’s about 26 degrees out I don’t feel like going to the car – what a sissy = huh?
So please mark your calendars, and if ya’ll have Christmas crafts, or other wares to sell, contact me at 530 474 5197 or 339 1458. There is no charge to set up a booth, and it should be a wonderful evening. It is such an important day and I hope alot of people can come out and share it with us. We need to bring attention to the fact that these animals are SUPPOSEDLY – FEDERALLY PROTECTED – and Honey Bandit should still be out in the wild with his mama and papa and living life wild and free.
